Data Destruction:
As a standard practice, IoVega performs the complete software destruction on all hard drives received due to the sensitive and confidential information they may contain. If required, IoVega can perform a complete destruction of all physical media.
Hard Drives are sanitized using Active KillDisk – hard drive eraser which conforms to the US Department of Defense cleaning and sanitizing standard DoD 5220.22-M rendering all information on the hard drives completely irretrievable and unrecoverable.
All identifying Asset Tags, Labels and other disposable media such as CD’s and Floppy Discs are removed and destroyed.
A report certifying sanitation can be provided for all hard drives by serial number if required by your business. IoVega will tailor our sanitization process to meet your needs if additional security measures are required.
